Book Spotlight: #99c Private Rivers by Jesse Taylor

What happens when a small town kid joins the army to explore the world... and ends up exploring his secret desires instead?

Dean Rivers is a naive and energetic eighteen-year-old with sandy hair and a fresh face. His first day at boot camp feels surreal. He joined the army to escape small town life, but is starting to feel in over his head. His strong but slender body is so different from the muscle men he sees around him. For the first time in his life, Dean realizes that there's a whole world out there he has yet to explore.

Sergeant Langley is there to give orders and make men out of boys. His commanding attitude and Hulk-like body are what's gotten him this far in the U.S. Army. When he sees Dean Rivers, he sees a small town boy without a clue about life. He's not going to cut him any breaks. He intends to turn Dean Rivers into his most successful recruit yet, but first, he has to teach Dean a lesson.

Will Private Rivers be able to cope with his new life surrounded by strange men and a drilling sergeant who hates him, or will his new life offer surprises that he's never even fantasized about?
